Do you know? Does your mom or dad know? Do your grandparents
know? Well, someone has to know! Tips are passed down
from generation to generation. With the world as busy
as it is today and with families living in different
areas of the world, it is hard to learn all of the tips
the way people used to.
People are looking, believe me! Finally with the internet
it is possible. At Tipz Time we can compile the tips
in one area. People pass through here everyday. Many
people leave their own tips that have been passed down
from someone and many people discover something new
that worked for them. Send them in, we will post them.
Who is behind Tipz Time? Believe it or not, 39 yr old,
Wendy Shepherd,
wife of 19 years to a wonderful husband named Michael
and mom of 3 little boys! While the kids sleep,
mom is having fun making a resource on the internet
for those who need to know a tip or two.
Tipz Time started as a single page of tips back in Sept.
of 1997 on my personal homepage. I was always intrigued
with the many tips that people seemed to have for different
areas of their lives. My mother and mother-in-law always
contribute tips and many people I know tell me tips.
I had to share! I had to have a place for it all.
In February of 1999, Tipz Time got it's own
domain. People that pass through are the main contributors
to Tipz Time now. It is blossoming nicely. We
just gave it a facelift, and worked in some ways to
make it easier to see what tip areas are offered. We
also offer update lists to bring our visitors back.
I truly enjoy working on the site. I wouldn't have
it any other way. I have so much to learn, yet I have
learned so much. Everything including the graphics are
done myself. It is nice to have dreams of what would
become of Tipz Time in the future. I hope that it would
become a great resource for everyone to refer to anytime
they think, "Hmm...I wonder if there is a tip for this?"
Hopefully the answer is, "Well, let's look it up at
Tipz Time!"
Media/Press for Tipz Time:
Tipz Time is a resource that holds many household /
garden tips and craft ideas that people send in, and
include many that are passed down from our own family
and friends. So it is by the people and for the people.
It's a sharing world here.
Tips for keeping pesky raccoons out of trash cans,
and keeping cauliflower white. There are many tips for
home, garden, food, bugs, chatting, timesaving, moneysaving,
teaching, chat and more. We post the tips and crafts
into ever growing categories. There is also a message
board where you can ask for tips that are not found
yet at Tipz Time. It can make you dizzy!
We are striving to make Tipz Time the largest and most
comprehensive online resource for tips, ideas and crafts.
