Photo Tips
When photographing people, watch for shadows
on their face. If you see shadows on their
face, have them turn in the light slightly
or find a new spot with a bit of shade.
______
To clean your photo lens, use a soft
100% cotton cloth. You can breathe on
the lens to create a light fog to add
a bit of moisture and wipe it clean.
______
When you can't use a tripod for taking
a steady picture, use a "closed"
bag of rice. You can position your camera
by moving it around in the rice. The camera
should stay in place once you have it
setup.
______
The best light for taking photos outdoors,
can be found in the first couple of hours
in the morning, and the first couple of
hours before sunset. Partly cloudy days
have brought me some wonderful light exposure
as well.
______
When using flash, watch for reflective objects
such as glasses, mirrors, etc. Otherwise
you will end of with a big white spot on
your photos. When you use flash in these
instances, shoot at an angle to the glass
rather than head on so the reflection will
bouce away from the camera.
