Tips for Fish

When buying fish, make sure to sniff the wrapped fish to see if there is a bleach smell. If the bleach smell is strong, steer clear and buy your fish somewhere else.

Rub lemon on cutting boards and utensils to eliminate fish odor.

To get rid of the smell of fish on your hands after cleaning them for a meal. Rub your hands against something made of stainless steel. We happened to have a stainless sink, and it works great!! It may take a few minutes of rubbing for strong smells. (Brice)
