Tips for Flour

Jan 15, 2007, 19:54   To make self rising flour, mix 4 cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 2 tablespoons of baking powder. Store in a tightly covered container.

To keep bugs out of flour type products; flour, cornmeal, etc.. add a bay leaf to each canister. Works like magic. (Steve H)

Store flour and noodles in the freezer to prevent bugs from growing in it.
